Plusieurs manifestations ont actuellement lieu à Kinshasa.
Des échauffourrées ont eu lieu à proximité immédiate des ambassades des Etats-Unis, de France, de Belgique, du Royaume-Unis et de Chine. Des pneus y ont été brûlés bloquant parfois la circulation des véhicules.
La communauté expatriée occidentale peut parfois être prise pour cible par les manifestants.
Si Kinshasa reste en niveau d’alerte 2 sur 4 à ce stade, nous recommandons aux Israéliens présents dans la capitale de se renseigner sur les manifestations en cours avant tout déplacement et d’éviter tout mouvement de foule
Si ce n’est pas fait, inscrivez-vous au Registre de sécurité tenu localement.
Des appels à manifester circulent sur les réseaux sociaux pour ce lundi 12 février. Il est conseillé de rester à domicile et de ne se déplacer qu’en cas de besoin uniquement. Les écoles étrangères resteront fermées.
Une marche est prévue et organisée par le Ministère de la Famille le mercredi 14 février à partir de 8h30. L’itinéraire démarre de la Gare Centrale jusqu’au Palais de la Nation.

Several protests are currently taking place in Kinshasa.
Scuffles took place in the immediate proximity of the embassies of the United States, France, Belgium, the United Kingdom and China. Tires were burned there, sometimes blocking vehicle traffic.
The Western expatriate community can sometimes be targeted by protesters.
If Kinshasa remains at alert level 2 out of 4, we recommend that Israelis present in the capital find out about the ongoing protests before any travel and avoid any crowd movements
If you have not done so, register with the locally maintained Safety Register.
Calls for protests are circulating on social networks for this Monday, February 12th. It is advisable to stay at home and only move when necessary. Foreign schools will remain closed.
A walk is planned and organized by the Ministry of Family on Wednesday, February 14th from 8:30 a.m. The route starts from the Central Station to the Palais de la Nation.
